Group made landfall over Haamstede at 24,000 ft, continued south-east to Woensdrecht and Rotterdam, out at South Gravesende at 27,000 ft. Major McCollom led the Group with Major Duncan, Lts Stafford, Rose and Herfurth [Herfurth is not listed in any of the Squadron flight plans, but likely flew with the 352nd if he did fly] of Group HQ participating.

350th: Major Rimerman. T/U 14.43 hrs. T/D 16:22 hrs. Total flight time 1.39 hrs. Several bursts of heavy flak reported in the vicinity of Rotterdam but inaccurate as to altitude. Long convoy sighted off east coast of East Anglia.

That evening 2nd Lt. Robert C. Peters of the 350th Squadron was up slow-timing a P-47 (a/c 42-8405 LH-X). As the light faded he tried to land at the unfinished Debach airfield but crashed into some cement bags, completely wrecking the aircraft after fire took hold. Lt Peters climbed from the aircraft unhurt and was picked up from Debach that evening.

2nd Lt. Robert C. Peters crashed LH-X (a/c 42-8405) at Debach. He escaped unhurt.
